We want you to see it here first, so it doesn't alarm you later. Mistey is not a virus. Windows shows this for any program it hasn't yet seen downloaded thousands of times. Mistey is new and made by a small team, so Windows doesn't recognise the publisher yet.

Click More info — the small underlined link. It's easy to miss, and until you click it the only button is Don't run.
A Run anyway button appears. Click it, and the installer opens normally.
If you saved the file first, Windows may call it blocked instead. Right-click it → Properties → tick Unblock → OK, then open it again.

Sign in to download
Mistey is licensed per computer, so we ask you to sign in with Google before downloading. It takes one click, and it means we can send you your licence, your updates, and your key again if you ever lose it.
We use your Google account only to verify your email. We never see your password, and we don't post anything anywhere.
Can't sign in?
If signing in is difficult — that is exactly the kind of thing Mistey exists to fix — tell us and we will send you the installer and your licence directly. Nobody gets turned away at this page.
After installing — three steps
- Open Mistey from the desktop icon.
- Click “Start my free 7-day trial”. Nothing to pay, no card.
- The guided setup checks your camera and microphone and helps you pick the control method that suits your body.
Everything works during the trial. We'll remind you before it ends — nothing is charged automatically, because we don't hold a card.
No internet on that computer?
Mistey runs completely offline — it only needs the internet once, to activate. A carer can do that part from a phone: get an activation code, then use the activation page to receive a small licence file to copy across.
